Terms of service

The short, honest rules for using a free job board.

1. What ShaqoGal is

ShaqoGal aggregates job vacancies for Somaliland, Somalia and the diaspora from public sources and employer submissions, and links applicants to the employer's own application channel. We are a signpost: we are not the employer, the recruiter, or a party to any application or employment contract.

2. Free for job seekers

Browsing and applying is free and requires no account. A legitimate listing will never ask you to pay to apply. If any listing does, report it — we remove it and flag the source.

3. Listings and accuracy

We verify listings against their source and show honest deadlines, but employers can change or withdraw vacancies without notice. We can't guarantee an advertised role is still open, and we're not liable for hiring decisions, which belong to employers alone.

4. Employer submissions

By submitting a vacancy you confirm it's a real role you're authorised to advertise. We review before publishing and may decline or remove any listing, especially anything misleading or requesting payment from applicants.

5. Acceptable use

Don't scrape the site at abusive rates, misrepresent listings, or attempt to disrupt the service. Content belongs to its publishers; the board's structure and text are ours.
